What’s happening at the Alliance.

Over the course of the evening, several businesses pledged support for live CSR projects, two committed to offering work experience placements, and a number signed up to become Friends of Education. The energy in the room said it all: when business and education sit down together, good things happen quickly. Thank you to everyone who came — and watch this space for the projects your support is bringing to life.

When a local primary posted their residential on our CSR Projects board, a nearby business stepped in within days. Their contribution, matched with a small grant the BEA secured, meant every child could go — including several who would otherwise have stayed behind. “It cost us very little and meant everything to those children,” the owner told us. This is exactly what the Alliance is for.

A great placement can change the course of a young person’s life — and it builds a local talent pipeline for your business at the same time.
